I’ve decided to give the 🐵 the old heave-ho and move back to Substack for my personal newsletter.
For starters, it’s just a simpler interface. Secondly, I don’t have to mess with design. Thirdly, I feel generally confident that it’ll be around for a time since it’s got some decent back via a16z.
But man, do I like simple. When things just work, I really fucking appreciate that, especially since there’s so many things in my life that aren’t working all the time.
(No one’s life is like that, duh.)
I’m grateful for the small audience that I have on this newsletter and I love feeling like I have a place to share some candid thoughts on what it’s like to run a venture-backed startup… as a CEO.
It’s not a title that I’ve always loved, but, I’m starting to like it more and more—recently I told a friend that it’s a role that I think I could learn to love, but, that I have a lot more growing to do in that department.
Don’t we all, don’t we all.
So, my newsletter has grown up… or, grown … down? Back? To simpler times.
